Echoes of Infinity
Photographer Portfolio
The master in the art of living makes little distinction between work and play, labor and leisure, mind and body, information and recreation, love and religion. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence in whatever he does, leaving others to decide whether he is working or playing. To him, he is always doing both.
I’m a consultant radiologist by profession, and I take photos and videos as a hobby. I’ve chosen not to call myself a photographer or videographer out of respect for those who do this for a living. I do it for the joy of it. Still, in both science and art, the work begins with the same quiet discipline. Learning how to look. Learning how to pay attention. In medicine, that means seeing clearly and responsibly. In photography and film, it means seeing patiently and capturing moments as they swing like a pendulum between dark and light, shadow and highlight, shaped by contrast from one end to the other.
I’m also drawn to Vedic philosophy and its subtle resonance with ideas in modern quantum mechanics, not as proof of anything mystical, but as a reminder that different ways of understanding often circle the same enduring questions. What is real? What does it mean to observe? Where does experience truly begin and end? The work of Alan Watts has shaped how I hold these questions, not as riddles to be solved, but as a way of seeking. Because it begins with “I do not know.” It is an ongoing practice of looking, wondering, and letting go.
This quest often brushes up against the five big philosophical questions.
Who started it?
Are we going to make it?
Where are we going to put it?
Who will clean up?
Is it serious?
This site is a small sanctuary. A place for photos, videos, and blog posts that speak to you and invite you to experience your own observer effect. What you see may not be what someone else sees, and it may be very different from what I intended to show. That is the whole point. I have chosen for the site to be neither dynamic nor static. Everything is in quiet transit. A dialogue between what appears and what slips away.
If something here resonates with you, I am glad you found your way here. And if you have ideas or suggestions, I would love to hear from you. In the meantime, enjoy the site and remember, “You are the universe expressing itself as a human for a little while.” Try to enjoy the show...
